OS X: ical-MobileMe-iSync issue

This page shows screenshots to illustrate interaction btw MobileMe, iSync and iCal. This inhibits all iSyncs with a third party mobile phone until MobileMe went hiddenly installed through a iTune 7.7 upgrade.
From this point, no iCal synchronization is possible with any third party mobile phone (the one illustrated is a Sony-ericsson w810i.

iSync Prefs

 

Preferences of iSync v 3.0, showing active setup for Contacts, and inactive setup for calendars.

If I click on Calendar Option box, I have the following msg:

iSync Prefs: error when selecting Calendars

 

This error msg comes in isync when I try to add a Calendar synchronization

iCal Prefs: general

 

This shows the general prefs in iCal, where th only option for synchronization is MobileMe, actually greyed-out because I don't want to setup a MobileMe account for a function that was working effectively before this update of iTunes (what iTunes is doing in this mess?) see the topic mentioned at top of this page for a whole story!

iCal Prefs: publish a calendar

 

for info: Here only options are: MobileMe and Private Server. The previous install of iCal / iSync allowed the synchronization with a compatible mobile device without use of any DAV server !
This option was left-out unactivated.
