@ADG_is_me Of course my Optus SIM turns up but not Vodafone (one ordered online). Hidden internal error, so stalled, I have to call them 1.5hrs later order completed How do large systems become so poorly architected, that call staff needed just to force orders through!

@TheProselytiser Bloody hell @Telstra - an internet outage AGAIN??You're so unreliable I have to have an Optus mobile in case of emergencies (Telstra refuse to invest in a mobile transmitter in our area.) If I ever move somewhere with an option NOT to have Telstra it'll be a happy day!

I was mainly raising this on behalf of my dad who has since raised his own support call and as far as I understand its still not working.

@drlynntownsend @oxley8150 I’m having the same issue. There’s no love from @Optus and I’m seriously considering moving my 5 mobile phones, email addresses and home nbn if there’s no fix soon.

@mostlystring @optus_help My internet has been intermittent at best since Friday’s rains with no communication from Optus and no way to make contact due to the chat app not loading. I’d quite like to not use all my mobile data to prop up an NBN service I’m paying for but not receiving.

@Dolgogi @HkgerRobin @Optus Depends what you want i guess. For me, Telstra is expensive, at least for my use. I live and work in the metro area, so signal isn't an issue. And the few places I go outside that area, Optus covers me. If you don't care about superfast 5G, then you might be happy with Voda

@oldjoeschmo @adamofsmeg My NBN has been via Vodafone going on 4 years with no issues. The router has built in SIM for when NBN is down. Phone is with Catch Connect {Optus network) last 4 yrs, but with no eSIM support yet, I'll be moving to kogan (Vodafone n'work). 2nd SIM is with Aldi (Telstra).

@AussiePeteC @BazzaCC Well, my experience with Optus a month or so back was appalling. THE worst customer service, to your face, in 2 stores. No facility to complain - and I had good cause - as the number you ring clearly says they are sales! Tried ringing cops about an issue on 131444, WOFTAM.

@cptwoodsy Not sure why I bother with @optus anymore when I have a 5G phone but only get 4G majority of the time. Reception has kinda sucked since that outage happened!!

@fornote2017 @NordVPN Annoyed that for the past week Nord hasn't worked with the Optus Sport app, tried a zillion different servers for 5 days in a row not been able to play a single vid, rarely had trouble in the past, is this known issue for Nord?
