The only thing that could be improved is the entertainment. There isn't anybody walking around advertising what's going on and trying to get people involved. And the evening entertainment isn't that great.
People seemed to be quite sensible with the sunbeds, there wasn't a mad scramble for them at 7am like I've seen elsewhere, and people generally packed their stuff up if they were leaving so we never had trouble finding a bed and some shade. If you can leave the kids with someone else for a few hours, the adults only area was a picture of serenity with loads of space - I was pretty jealous of the few people there!
The kids facilities though are great. Kids pool is safe enough to let the nipper run free, with lots of slides and buckets and the like to keep them entertained. There's a small play area which was very popular (could probably do with another swing or three to stop the arguments!), and a fair bit of space to run around, as well as basic entertainment.
Food was better than expected too. The lunches and snack bar were better than any other all-inclusive I've been too, and while the dinners could get repetitive there was usually something different on (the leg of lamb went down well!). The burgers at the snack bar are great. One criticism would be the availability of the food... sometimes there was a wait for popular items like pizza in the evening or pancakes in the morning - might be worth getting more of these on the go at the same time. Also once or twice items weren't available at the snack bar, and when a kid wants chips, a kid wants chips!
There's a couple of restaurants nearby to breakup the monotony of the dinners. The fish restaurant looks great, but we only tried the beach bar opposite for tapas and wine which was superb. Buses and taxis available to elsewhere on the island and nowhere takes too long to get to. The local beach is lovely too. Really enjoyed my week here.
