Alfredo Battistini - Bildhauer

Sein Material ist die Bronze, seine Studienobjekt der Mensch. Alfredo Battistinis Bronzeskulpturen zeigen den Mensch in seiner Vielfalt: ästhetisch, verletzlich, harmonisch, zerrissen... immer aber kompromisslos ehrlich. Seine gegenständlichen Skulpturen sprechen von enormer körperlicher Kraft und Ausdruckstärke - verraten dabei aber dem aufmerksamen Betrachter etwas von der Verletztheit und Sensibilität des Künstlers.

Geistig verwandt mit Auguste Rodin, trägt Alfredo Battistini den Stempel seines strengen Lehrmeisters Hans Jörg Limbach. Seit 1983 zeigt Battistini seine Werke im In und Ausland. Der Mensch in seinen Möglichkeiten und Grenzen  ist der Gegenstand seiner täglichen Auseinandersetzung. In seinem Atelier entstehen jene Gipstorsos - bevor sie in Bronze gegossen werden - die dreidimensionales, gegenständliches und ästhetisches Zeugnis dieses Konflikts ablegen.

Alfredo Battistini - Sculpteur

Sa matière est le bronce, son objekt d`étude est l`être humain. Dans toutes ses diversités: esthétisme, vulnérabilité, harmonie, déchirure, mais toujours d`une manière sincère et sans aucun compromis. Ses sculptures objectives témoignent d`une énorme force corporelle et d`expression - l`observateur attentif ressent en elles la blessure sentimentale et la sensibilité de l`artiste. Il partage le même esprit qu`Auguste Rodin et porte I`empreinete de son maître Hans Jörg Limbach, ui était très exigeant et sévère.

Depuis 1983, Battistini présente son ceuvre en Suisse et à l`étranger. Grâce à son autodiscipline et sa force de volonté, Alfredo Battistini poursuit ses activités et réussit à réaliser ses buts artistiques. L`être humain, dans ses pos - sibilitès et ses limits, est l`objet d`un conflit journale. Les torses en plâtre qui prennent frome dans son atelie - avant d`être coulés en bronce - rendent témoignage d` un art figuratif en trois dimensions à ce conflit.

His Favorite  material is bronze - his objects the human body. Alfredo Battistini`s sculpures show the multitude of the human traits: aesthetic, vulnerable, harmonious, torn apart.... but always totally frank and honest. His sculptures reflect enormous physical and emotional strength - however, careful observers can also feel the artist`s vulnerability and sensitivity. Spiritually related to August Rodin, Alfredo Battistini has been shaped by his strict tutor Hansjörg Limbach.

Since 1983 Battistini has shown his works at home and abroad. Self discipline and a strong will are the features that allow Alfredo Battistini to constantly pursue and realize his artistic goals. Possibilities and limits of  mankind is the topic of his daily challenge. The plaster sculptures made in his studio - before being cast in bronce - reflect the tree - dimensional, concrete and aesthetic proof of this conflict / challenge.
