Follow these instructions to save your Outline.
Later you can open it in Microsoft Word and continue working with it.


Internet Explorer

• In your browser menu, click on File then Save As...  
• In the File name dropdown, create a name for your file. For example: MyOutline 
• Then choose where you want to save your outline using the Save in dropdown box
• In the Save as type dropdown, choose Text File (*.txt) This step is important!
• Click on the Save button
  

Firefox

• In your browser, click on File then Save Page As  
• In the File Name textbox, highlight and delete the name of the file.
• Then create a name for your file. For example: MyOutline (with no extention-- important!)
• Choose where you want to save it by using the Save in dropdown box
• In the Save as type dropdown, choose Text Files This step is important!
• Click The Save button
