I was born 1975 in Luzern as the first child of my parents who both fled Czechoslovakia.

First we lived in Horw, Luzern and from 1982 till 2009 I was living in Greifensee.

My interest in photography started during my studies at the grammar school in Oerlikon where I attended a course in B/W photography - which was obiously more complicated and time-consuming than photography nowadays. Eversince I enjoyed taking photographs - mainly of my travels and of landscapes etc.

Being fed up with photographing just landscapes etc. I joined usgang.ch in July 2007 in order to get the opportunity to take party pictures of people enjoying themselves, of concerts as well as other events and carried on with them untill early 2013. And even after leaving usgang.ch my passion carries on and I am always happy to be asked for some quality photographs.

That was the time when I switched from crossover to DSLR cameras. The equipment changed and presently I own a Canon 7D and 5D mark III body, flashes (including a studio flash set) and a good range of lenses.

Even though being a lawyer, my cam accompanied me for a long time on a daily basis.
