Raphael Tanner was brought up in a musical family and had
a classical-music education (cello and piano), followed by post-graduate
studies in composition, electronic music, acoustics and sound-engineering.
he studied in Winterthur (Switzerland), Basel, Stockholm and London.
for five years he was a member of the world-famous «Orchestre
de la Suisse Romande», where he learned a great deal about
symphonic arrangements, which places his compositions at high
standards. during the same period, he also built his first studio
for composing.
