  Zurich (1987), the Bartlett School of Architecture in London (1993-94, together with
  Cornel Näf),the University for Applied Studies in Lucerne (1994-97)
• Correspondent of the architectural journal FACES (1989-99
• Founding Member of the Architectural Firm "M22" together with Cornel Näf in 1989, 1997
  transformed into "Hans Frei Architect"
• Fellow of the Swiss National Fond in 1986/87 and from 1991 till 1994
• Professor for Architectural Design and Theory at the University of Kassel (Germany)
