About Us

The Jerusalem Hostel is a great accommodation choice for budget travelers or families who wish to explore Jerusalem’s historical and cultural sights.
The Jerusalem Hostel is located in a charming historical building (some former Prime Ministers of Israel made famous speeches from one of our room’s balcony!), just a few steps away from anything you’ll need in Jerusalem. Each of our cozy facilities has private bathroom and air-conditioning. We also provide over 200 sq. meters of rooftop garden space right on top of the main street of Jerusalem!

In our peak days we welcome up to 150 independent travelers each night. Days can be spent in our cozy lounge, reading books or on keen conversations with fellow guests. In summer days our guests enjoy sunbathing in our spacious rooftop, drinking a beer or cold soda. When it's time to stretch legs, you can find all the activities and sights Jerusalem has to offer, all in minutes of walk.
Whether you are looking for intimate private accommodation or a communal space, we have plenty of both.

Jerusalem Then & Now

Jerusalem is one of the oldest, most famous and to many - most holy - city in the world. Throughout its rich history, Israel's capital served as the spiritual, cultural, governmental and economical center of the Holy Land. Today, Jerusalem still combines the new & the old, the authentic & vibrant, giving it a unique atmosphere.
The beautiful, famous ‘Old City’ of Jerusalem is 5-minutes walk from the Hostel!

Mahanae Yehuda Market ("The Shuk”)

The hostel is located just 500 meters from the Mahane Yehuda Market (10 min. walk!) - one of the biggest traditional marketplaces in Israel, popular among local and tourists alike. More than 250 vendors sell fresh fruit and vegetables; baked goods; fish, meat and cheeses; nut, seeds, and spices, wines and liquors; clothing and shoes; and textile and Judaica souvenirs. 
When night arrives the Shuk changes and becomes a mesmerizing nightlife center, with restaurants, bars and live music!
