The aim of a repair is that a object regains its operational reliability without destroying the historical relevance. Depending on the actual condition some parts have to be replaced or reconstructed in order to maintain the opeatinal reliabilty of a clock. The original parts go back to the owner of the object.

Fire damage

After a fire damage mort then two dozens of timepieces of a collector had to be restored. Some of the clocks just needed a cleaning from grime. Others had to be repared und refited.

The insurance of the owner asked for offers from different clock restorer. Finally my workshop got the contract.
