The most elegant designs of Chinese traditional furniture go back to the Ming Dynasty, and were made in a variety of woods, including cypress and walnut as well as oak and elm. Today, these and modern designs are also made in rosewood, with its distinctive reddish cast, and in tropical hardwoods. Our representatives are in constant contact with the Asian craftsmen who make this furniture, so if you have a specific idea of what you would like, we can get it for you even if it is not in our current range. It is even possible to have furniture made to order.
