Welcome

The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust is an educational charity set up by the late Lord Weidenfeld (right) and its chairman André Hoffmann (below).

The Trust provides around thirty graduate scholarships a year for young people from developing and emerging countries to study at Oxford and participate in a specially created Leadership Programme which gives them the tools to return to their countries and make a difference in whichever sphere they can.

The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust is the largest philanthropic scholarship supported by the University of Oxford.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”5/12″][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”10947″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1536158772099{margin-top: 0px !important;padding-top: 0px !important;}”][vc_column width=”5/12″][vc_single_image image=”11324″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”7/12″][vc_column_text]The Trust is now permanently established at the University of Oxford thanks to our Endowment. Spearheaded by our Chairman and benefactor André Hoffmann and Trustee and donor Michael Lewis the Endowment ensures the Scholarships Programme in perpetuity. André Hoffmann’s support for the Trust, the largest philanthropic scholarship supported by the University of Oxford, in conjunction with matched funding from the University, has been transformational in strengthening the Trust and the Scholarships and Leadership Programme.

The Trust continues to focus on cultivating future leaders to address current and future global challenges, particularly those relating to emerging and transitional economies.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1525978858701{padding-bottom: 0px !important;background: #f2f2f2 url(http://726.b72.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/151205-Sheldonian-12-e1525978791141.jpeg?id=10946) !important;background-position: center !important;background-repeat: no-repeat !important;background-size: cover !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]
