What would it feel like if the trauma caused by rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment, misogyny, and sexual discrimination were dismantled? What if we instead cultivated spaces for body positivity and healthy communication around consent? Together, let’s reclaim and heal a society overwhelmed by toxic images and representations of sex… one body at a time. You’re invited to dance you relationship with My Body, My right. Nick Ross, anti-violence advocate, will be facilitating this conversation with a panel of Queer and Trans folks. We are queering Sexual Assault Awareness month by diving into a frank discussion about ethical polyamory, consent, and boundaries in poly relationships. Denim, Diamonds & Pearls Sexual Violence Awareness Event

Denim, Diamonds & Pearls is a virtual Sexual Violence awareness event where parents, youth and community members join us for the opportunity to uplift the work of Denim Day youth ambassadors, engage in critical dialogue around sexual violence and offer pearls of wisdom. “Denim” represents awareness, “Diamonds” represent education and “Pearls” represents the wisdom that we share based on what we’ve experienced. We are excited to honor the contributions made to sexual assault awareness throughout the city and hear from youth about the sexual assault awareness activities they participated in. Attendees are encouraged to wear denim & white, accessorize in bling & pearls and/or wear your Denim, Diamonds & Pearls t-shirt and post a message that support the educational, awareness and wisdom of survivors.
