Welcome to my website! I'm a jewelry designer living on the St. George river in Thomaston, Maine. On a good day, the river looks like the color of jade, hence the name "Jadewater Design."
After earning a degree from Parsons School of Design in New York City, I traveled and gathered inspiration from around the world. My current work is inspired by tribal and primitive art such as Mesopotamian, Etruscan, and African. Nature is my solace and the materials I use are inspired and derived from nature. A majority of my pieces incorporate repurposed, antique, carved mother of pearl. Each piece is unique and crafted using sterling silver, gold or gold filled metal. I welcome the possibility of making jewelry lines to be sold exclusively for boutiques, collaborating with the owner to incorporate his/her ideas. In addition, I do commissions, bespoke, using a special piece you may have or by jointly designing a piece. |
