Les artistes invité·es pour cette exposition ancrent leur propos dans des lieux de la mémoire, des expériences vécues ou une vision particulière du monde, qu’ils-elles restituent à travers des installations, sculptures ou reliefs. Avec des techniques qui conservent la trace manuelle, comme la céramique, le moulage ou l’assemblage d’objets récupérés, ils façonnent ou recomposent des formes à la fois familières et énigmatiques, dont la portée dépasse le personnel pour s’inscrire dans le collectif.
Les thématiques du rite, cultuel ou quotidien, de la temporalité, en passant par le pouvoir évocateur du texte et des choses matérielles, ou de la relation à la mort et au cycle de vie, traversent ces oeuvres polysémiques et stratifiées. Elles référence en filigrane à la maison parentale, aux lieux de rassemblement, aux interconnexions du monde vivant et à des problématiques sociétales. Des liens formels et sémantiques se tissent entre les matérialités, les objets et leur symbolique, entre passé et présent, sphère privée et publique, cherchant à se frayer un chemin à travers le chaos.

The installations, sculptures and reliefs are anchored by restored memories, life experiences and a certain vision of the world. Using techniques that preserve the manual traces, such as ceramics, moulding or assembly of recuperated objects, forms are shaped or recomposed that are at once familiar and enigmatic and move beyond the personal to embrace the collective.
Rites, religion or daily existence, temporality, the evocative power of words and material things, the relation with life and death, run through these polysemous and layered works. There are implicit references to the family home, to meeting places, to interconnections in the living world and to social problems. Formal and semantic links are woven between materials, objects and their symbolism, between present and past and between the private and public spheres in an attempt to clear a path through the chaos.
