Hi there. The lines happen in multiplayer, not in the regular game. The Alchemist is the one who says what he smells like, and she’d presumably be able to identify the scent composition. In the game, she’s the lone dwarf sitting under a tree by the stables (I think), which might explain why she’d know how Cullen smells, since he’s in the lower courtyard before he gets his office.

13: Do they have any favourite foods? Would they eat it all the time if they had the chance? What do they hate to eat?

He doesn’t have a particular favorite food - he’s the type to eat most things, even his terrible cooking (which sometimes results in him getting sick at times!). Although if he had the choice to eat anything that he wanted, he does have a taste for cheese! If he had to pick something he would hate to eat for the rest of his life, it would be liver!

16: What are concepts they value? Virtues? What do they look down upon?

Choices that are pro-mage is a given. He tries to help those around him that are in-need. As the Inquisitor, he’s in a position where he is able to help and not be harrassed / attacked for being a mage - although it does happen. They look down on things that hurt others.

He also likes to give people second chances, whether or not he personally thinks they don’t deserve it. He does get personally offended if people take his offer for a second chance and threw it away (looking at you Denam) and he doesn’t give third chances if it’s a serious betrayal.

21: Name an embarrassing situation that your muse has been in.

Accidentally being in the middle of a love triangle between the Iron Bull and Cassandra (whoops!). He was a bit of a flirt when he was getting to know his Inner Circle before he chose to be with someone (he stopped flirting, of course) but ended up with several people interested (WHOOPS). By the end of Trespasser though, things have worked out between all three. So cue relationship shenanigans for the first year or so as the Inquisitor!

I had many choices…. I wanted to be a world wide veterinarian for a very long time, then decided i should end up an history teacher… Then a Law Teacher…… After that, art happened, and i wasn’t in childhood anymore.

In the small ways? Food, mostly. She’ll always bring him bits of something to eat, or shares her meal with him if they’re somewhere private. For the Dalish, eating is a community activity, you share with your food with the clan and the people you care about. You might even save the best pieces of meat (the fatty cuts, yum) for someone special. There’s been a few nights she shows up with a warm roll, slices of bacon, or a hunk of cheese.

Sometimes she sends back field sketches in her letters of landscapes or monuments she’s seen that she think would interest him. He’s not really the outdoorsy type, but there’s usually some kind of interesting story she sends along with each sketch. It makes him feel a little bit closer even if they’re miles apart.

They’re not very physically affectionate in public, but she’ll give a squeeze of his hand, or brush by him, or bump her hip into him if they’re in a semi-private spot, or surrounded by friends.

She shares her people’s stories with him, too. She thinks it’s a sign of trust that she’s sharing her people’s history with a human, and while Samson does appreciate that (and thinks the stories are pretty great), he also appreciates the time she spends telling them. She’s busy, needed in 10 different places by 10 different people at once, and the fact she makes time for him just adds to it all.
