Student Action Plan Against Bullying

Ready to take action to address bullying? Maybe not sure how to start? As a student, bullying is something that impacts you, your peers, and your school – whether you’re the target of bullying, a witness, or the person who bullies. Bullying can end, but that won’t happen unless students, parents, and educators work together and take action.

Tell Us Why You Care

  • I care because no child should have to go through bullying for being themselves.

  • I care because bullying is degrading. Bullying can really affect someone's mental state and can make them feel much less confident in themselves. Bullying is something no one should have to go through and it should be stopped. It is important to check in on people's mental state from time to time. This is why I care.

  • I care because growing up, I experienced bullying. Many teenagers and even little children experienced being humiliated and hurt without being able to defend themselves. I care because I want them to feel valid and know that someone is there to listen. I would love for them to finally be able to speak up and move forward with their lives. Besides, most of them are just kids and none of them deserves how they are treated.

    Khei — 15
  • nobody should be belittled or treated differently.

    HIA — 18
  • I care because, honestly, no matter how different we are, we will always be the same in many different ways and we will always be family. If you care, and if you believe, be an upstander, not a bystander, you can change anything even though sometimes it may be hard. You just gotta put you heart to it. I know what it feels like to be hurt, but no one should ever feel that way. You as one person can start off change, and as you go, more people will be united. I believe in you. You cand do anything.

    Akeelah — 13

I was bullied in elementary school
Anonymous

When I was in 4th grade I liked this one boy but there were 2 people who would always bully me because of it. They would laugh at me for it. They would go out of their way to make me feel miserable. I finally stood up to them one day and then I reported them to the principal.
