Bigfoot Lurks Around PA Home And Steals Cats

A N.Y. resident found a huge trackway of prints measuring 16 inches long, and covering hundreds of feet. At several points along their route they come within just feet of a home. Another woman told a story of how something had gotten in her car when she left the windows down, and how several cats have gone missing from their home. These were just a couple of the many stories told at a recent bigoot meeting held in McKean County.

On March 13, David Inman, a Portville, N.Y. carpenter who has worked on various projects for the Smiths, showed the footprints’ route that were clearly visible for hundreds of feet between a wooded area near Potato Creek and an open field across East Valley Road. At some places, the tracks were found within several feet of the Smiths’ home. The tracks measured 16 inches in width and 20 inches in length, and were found nine feet apart...

Another speaker, who lives in a development, recalled an incident from last winter when he found mysterious footprints that were 13 inches long, 12 inches wide, with a seven-foot span. “What makes prints that large?” he asked. This man’s wife spoke about several episodes. In one case three years ago, she found small footprints on their property. Then, last spring, four prints with the same shapes, only larger, were found on their land.

This woman referred to an incident that happened over night when, for the first time, she didn’t roll up her car windows.

“Something got in and out of the car and left four fingerprints, larger than mine, in the dew on a door’s exterior,” she said. “In addition, I found one of our cats in the car, but another cat was gone. Three cats were missing that month.”

In his comments, Inman said, “I was never a believer in Bigfoot, but those footprints on the Smiths’ property were very consistent. I started wondering, ‘What kind of animal can do that?’”

    1. I know. Was the first thing that popped up in my mind. They're only 4 foot tall. What news on the video?

    2. For 16" tracks the gait looks awfully short. One with that size foot should be stepping about 4 feet apart. If you erased every other foot that would be about right. The in line step looks right though.

  2. Too bad they didn't take photos of the large fingerprints they found. BF fingerprints are different than humans. They don't do a semi-swirl, but are vertical.

Eating people's pets is not uncommon. In the winter when there is less vegetation they could be getting meals where they can find them, including munching on cats.

The cat found in the car could be from the cats jumping in the car window to get away for BF.

    1. D Dover- The full article does state that the resident carpenter did collect hair samples, but the price of analysis rears its inflated head upon further reading.

    2. It wouldn't cost them anything if they sent it to the right person who could give an analysis under a microscope to see if the hair is similar to other BF hair samples which shows a fragmented medulla in the center of the hair. It would need to be sent to the right BF researcher though.

    3. D Dover- Perhaps Mr. Inman can be informed of that, and thanks for the crasher course on hair analysis.

    4. He could send them to Sykes, though that din't work out too well last time. Must be all those other similar ones with medulla in the center that confused issues.

  3. Here, let me log in, dammit. Albaswitch; which means "apple-snitch" were known for their love of apples and said to inhabit the shores of the Susquehanna river. Not to be confused with the much taller Susquehannocks, who according to early settler John Smith ( Yes, that John Smith), were well over 6 feet tall and extremely broad chested. But enough about Kate Upton...

    3. He's a sicko NC. I used to think he is just an immature child. But he's been around here for a couple of years now without not growing up, wising up, or moving on. Now I really think he is quite disturbed. Most likely someone I would use pepper spray on in an alley. I don't understand why he isn't blocked.

    4. I noticed about 2 years ago he would pretend to be MMC to drag me into conversations. He got a real sick satisfaction about that. Dover is right, he often answers himself and tries to draw people in deceptively when he isn't straight up acting like a divisive twit.

I've noticed that for a while now, and I assume others have noticed it too, like you, without commenting on how he answers himself like he's someone else.

And you're right, he does try to draw people in deceptively by acting like he's something he's not -- a real creep.

Like you, I don't understand why the site doesn't do something about him. That's the reason this disturbed person is here fulfilling his sick need to reap chaos because most places would stop him.

    10. Dover- Check the comments under the facebook page. I've spotted a few eerily similar to this schizoids blathering.

    11. I'm sure a troll like him with his special need to harass and disturb boards for no other purpose than to nourish his sick pleasure spends all day trolling his favorite haunts and a few new ones as opportunity avails itself.

    12. CHICK, I too noticed the immature childlike behavior, and also the more reasonable comments when he wants to draw you in. It's all immature though, like the blathering NC mentioned. Adults grow up and put off the childish behavior. In Transactional Analysis he's in the child state, not the adult.

  5. Should be easy then right retards? Follow the Bigfoot tracks back to its Bigfoot house.Im sure you'll find it kicked back watching Netflix episodes of Finding Bigfoot and laughing hysterically. But let me guess, some unfortunate circumstance prevented you from following these tracks to their origin. RATS foiled again.....

    3. This is a point I have wondered about for some time now. I have seen other stories of these type of tracks in areas where the terrain would allow easy following. Why does no one ever follow where they go or come from? Even if you did not have enough daylight you could simply mark the spot and continue the next day until conclusion. Eventually it would have to lead to somewhere or something. Just seems like such an easy solution for someone who is really curious.

    4. People have followed tracks for long distances and then lose them over rocks or what have you. There's a video of some Russian kids following tracks and then get one on video.

One of the oldest known instances of bigfoot tracks was recorded in the early 1800's by a man named Thompson who couldn't figure what could be making the large tracks he found in the snow and he followed those for a really long ways until he lost them.

      Delete
    5. Well, all I can say is that they must not be very good trackers.

      Delete
    6. I don't know if they do it with tracks in snow, but there are claims of bigfoots covering over their tracks and trying not to leave any. Some researchers I know with the SRA tried putting a medium down that would make footprints and the sasquatches avoided stepping in it, using their long arms to get the food and not leave tracks.
