Description

The CFG 188 401 demo kit is based on CFG's miniature Read/Write head 188 220. This head is designed for reading and writing to passive RF/ID tags and badges operating at a carrier frequency of 125 kHz. Among its features is multi-tag read capability, i.e., the ability to communicate with tags from several different manufacturers without change of software or reconfiguration.

The demo kit is designed for easy connection to an RS232 port of a PC and comes complete with Windows compatible software and a selection of tags of different provenance. With this kit, the user can experiment with the different features of the various tag systems, for example, reading and writing to a tag, using a password, using read or write protection, etc.
