The annual Danse Suisse Talentscouting Days, held once again at the Zurich University of Arts (ZHdK), hosted around 270 talented young dancers. Due to the high demand, this year's event was extended to five days.
The summerdance24 pre-professional dance training program for talented young people, aged 12 and over, will take place on the premises of the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) from the 11th to the 17th of August, 2024.
Tanzfaktor is a biannual project organized by Reso - Rete Danza Svizzera, that aims to encourage and support young companies dedicated to contemporary dance. It offers them the opportunity to present their productions to a wide audience and to network with industry professionals from throughout Switzerland. A jury of tour organizers select 5 companies who are then provided the means for a national tour within the theaters and festivals associated with Reso.
Recent years have shone a harsh light on the precarious income situation of many cultural professionals; a reality that has been further accentuated by the Covid-19 pandemic. In light of these challenges, the National Cultural Dialogue adopted groundbreaking recommendations and best practices for the adequate compensation of artists in a meeting held on April 22nd, 2024.
The ASSAL Center and Dr. Elisabeth Schauer are pleased to offer a medical education course for health professionals and dancers entitled “The dancer’s foot and ankle & beyond”. The event will take place on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, at the Théâtre Les Salons in Geneva.
Label+ romand - arts de la scène, will become an annual funding instrument for co-productions.
