After years of sailing and chartering, we felt that our perception of the ideal travelling and chartering aluminium catamaran was missing on the market. When we discovered the straight forward and well balanced design of Peter Kerr, the setting was right and the construction started 2003 in Sweden.

We did the project management and about 60-70% of the more than 22‘000 hours needed to get ready to sail. The Swedish west cost has a long tradition of yacht building, so we easily found the right expertise in the area for specific jobs.

In Summer 2008 we sailed from Sweden to Greece with paying crews. 2009 we sailed and lived on MOANA in the Mediterranean doing 18 weeks of charter. Our second daughter was born in 2010 and we decided to move back to Switzerland.

Due to work, family and new projects MOANA is currently only being sailed 4-6 weeks per year. That is far to little for a yacht like this and this is why we are selling her.
