C64 version was funnier. This makes eyes sore, so "more colours = better game" is not true. Fun and fiendish at the same time.

Nice little puzzler with hideous graphics and eye-watering colour clash. The 3D view was clearly a waste of coding time that would have been better spent on improving the 2D graphics. The sounds are a bit feeble as well.

A fascinating little puzzle game that sadly doesn't get the respect it deserves. Fairly original in gameplay, but don't play it in 3D mode. It's a gimmick, makes the game slow to a crawl and makes the controls more confusing for no reason.
The Amiga version runs a little faster than other ports which makes the game quite tricky, and the time limit is very unforgiving.
But it's still worth a play if you like games that make you think.
I think I read somewhere that Jeff Minter did some of the level designing. Hence the one that looks like a ruminant.

A fiendish little puzzler with terrible controls in the 3D view. It's easier to play in the top down view and there are loads of levels to work through.

A really nice and playable game with clever levels. 3D view is really beautiful but vertical view will be prefered to play seriously. Only the character is totally uninspired. I suppose the designers thought about all the gameplay but had no idea of the storyline, so they created a basic blue thing with big eyes and nose, and that's it
A nice game worth to try.

Truly good puzzle game... Has an enormous amount of levels with a gradual difficulty curve that can keep you busy for a very long time. Thankfully the game uses a password system to allow restarting from different levels. Personally I consider the 2D view much superior to the 3D view both in terms of look & feel and playability. (

Anthony Crowther strikes again and I have to admire the great puzzle elements in this game. I played it non stop! Gfx and sound were functional but once again the brain scratching level design had me hooked!

This was the cover disk for one of the first ever issues of AMiga Power if I remember rightly, maybe the first ever?
I was bit young to get this game when it first arrived in my house, but I remember my parents playing it for hours on end. A clever puzzler if I remember rightly.

This is a decent puzzler. You tend to get into it more the longer you play it, I find. Cool graphics with a quirky main character, very colourful, and a lot of levels to keep you busy. I recommend Bombuzal to anyone who enjoys logic games, really.

Very good and original puzzle game. Perhaps this is a forgotten gem.

Heh, that Crowther guy... Nothing less than a genius, huh? Sure, he didn't know how to match two colours without generating an eyesore-inducing clash, but he definitely knew how to design games. Cool.
