My husband and I cannot believe our good fortune in finding Leigh Jay Nacht. We were looking to set a diamond from a cocktail ring (that my grandmother had given my mother) in an engagement ring. We went to six different jewelers in Manhattan and had very mixed experiences. Everything we were seeing was so similar and kind of boring. Then we found Leigh. Not only did he have such a plethora of gorgeous ring setting options, but he was so easy to work with and open to customizing exactly what we wanted! AND his prices were somehow less than other jewelry shops we visited. He even was able to do a rush job so that my husband could propose before the end of the year. We went back to him to get our wedding bands and could not be happier with how they look, especially with Hebrew and our wedding date engraved on the inside. I have continued to go to Leigh to sell some of my grandmother's jewelry and to repair some pieces that had missing stones or broken parts. Do not look any further for your fine jewelry needs. Leigh is a gem.

After looking around at countless engagement rings, we finally found Leigh and he had a ring that was obviously "the one." He actually had a few that could've been the one but that's just a testament to all the great options he has. Each piece has such character and charm. And the heart that he puts into the craftsmanship is fully apparent. He also spent so much time talking through each piece to make sure it would all be exactly as we wanted. In an industry where it is so easy to get overwhelmed, Leigh makes the jewelry process so seamless and the quality of his product is just unparalleled.

I can't imagine a kinder or more thoughtful person to assist in finding your special piece of Jewelry. Leigh helped my husband choose the perfect engagement ring for me over ten years ago and has since become someone I trust and enjoy working with for all my fine jewelry needs. He also was able to create the perfect tennis bracelet for me and I always look forward to seeing what unique and beautiful pieces he has in store.

I am just over the moon about my ring and, since we can't yet come in to Leigh Jay Nacht to choose our bands (but will soon!) I thought I would visit them here and leave a rave. I had researched antique rings on line for several weeks. My boyfriend was worried he wouldn't choose properly and, so, we made a lunch date on 8/29 to go take a look. I started at LJN intending to work my way through a few places.

Needless to say, it was my first and only stop. I walked in around noon and by 12:45 my future engagement ring was in a bag in my boyfriend's hand. I knew I was in the right place as soon as I started talking to the woman who helped me (whose name I completely forgot because, apparently, wedding planning has used up all of my bandwidth). The rings are organized by price point (which is brilliant). She let me lead (which is my preference) but made expert suggestions and was patient as I tried rings on. I was committed to a vintage ring and, as I pulled them on and off my finger, one stood out. 30 minutes in, and I knew which one I wanted on my hand forever. The whole time, [amazing saleswoman] was gentle, encouraging, and patient. The owner introduced himself to us, as well, and was warm and gracious.

My man surprised all of us by going to the bank, getting a cashier's check and buying the ring on the spot. I gave it back to him and said he should propose when he was ready. He did it that night. I chose a ring at exactly the budget my boyfriend set and that I am completely and totally enamored of. It's kind of ridiculous. The experience I had buying the ring is as fabulous as the ring itself. I can't thank LJN enough.

What an incredible experience it's been working with/communicating with Leigh! My fiance and I walked into Leigh Jay & Co a few months ago and found the ring she absolutely knew was hers; from the moment we left, Leigh was so helpful and thoughtful in making sure we'd be happy with the piece. My fiance and I had been shopping for rings for 2 years. I really wanted a vintage engagement ring that was art deco and in yellow gold. The only ones I found weren't the right setting or diamond size and it was a long search, only to be disappointed. I found Leigh Jay Nacht online and reached out to Leigh via email. He was really friendly on the phone and walked us through the process of getting my dream ring sight unseen! He made my vision possible and was professional and positive during the entire experience. When my fiance proposed to me with the ring, I was over the moon on how it looked. The quality is great, the setting is more beautiful in person and Leigh was able to work within our budget. While we never got to meet in person, I would wholly recommend working with him! People have commented how much the ring is very much my style and it couldn't be more perfect!

I rarely write reviews but I felt it necessary in this instance. 2 years ago we were at the end of our rope trying to find a jeweler who would set a family diamond in an antique setting. When we almost gave up, we found Leigh Jay Night.

I couldn't be more thrilled with how well my engagement ring looks. They have an amazing selection of gorgeous jewelry. If you want something that looks antique, detailed, and jaw dropping, this is the place! I love, love, love my ring. It's perfect.

Winona is amazing! She was so patient with us then and even now. I recently reached out to get my annual FREE cleaning and she also did an appraisal for a ring my grandmother left me. So accommodating and truly a pleasure to interact with.

I'm obsessed with my engagement ring to an almost unhealthy degree. I spend hours staring at it and shoving it into people's faces. Actually just people who will tolerate that sort of behavior, and who already know how obnoxious and immature I can be. So really just immediate family, and my cats.

It's so perfect, so me, so vintage and pre-conflict and all that crunchy shit.

Also, I love Leigh and Winona and the whole team at LJN. They're just truly nice and passionate and professional people who deserve every bit of their success. If I ever get married again they're the first jewelers I'll go to. Haha just kidding, marriage is for life!

I can't say enough good things about the team at Leigh Jay Nacht. My husband and I did some of our initial shopping for my engagement ring there, but ultimately ended up going with a family piece. When it was time to find a band to go with my Art Deco ring, LJN was my first and only stop. Kiesha helped me find the perfect platinum contoured band to go with my ring for a reasonable price. She and Leigh were both so helpful, and when I needed my band sized a few months later, they were so accommodating and said that the first resizing was free!

Gorgeous rings and great customer service, what more can you want?

I feel badly about everyone else having a not-too-great experience with Leigh thus far, but I have to admit that he was a life-saver when it came to my recent engagement ceremony. I'd always known that I'd get my engagement ring from Leigh ever since I'd discovered his website: antiqueengagementrings.com. There wasn't a design that I didn't love!

My fiance and I already had a gorgeous Asscher stone, and we wanted the perfect antique-style mounting to go with it. We decided to go with one of Leigh's circa 1920's Art Deco reproductions. Unfortunately, we decided this less than 2 weeks before the actual engagement ceremony. EVERY jewelry distributer that we visited, prior to Leigh, who offered similar designs said that our request was an impossibility...it would take at least 8 weeks.

I called Leigh's showroom and relayed my dilemma. I honestly didn't have very high hopes. However, to my surprise, Leigh and his team exceeded my expectations by having my ring ready and delivered to my doorstep several days before my engagement ceremony, imagine that! Leigh was very patient, understanding, and accommodating...a real gentleman. He personally worked with me closely over the phone in the days my ring was being prepared. On top of that, his quoted price for my custom mounting was a mere fraction of what everyone else was quoting me. I don't know how he does it, this man is a genius!

Needless to say, I'm an extremely happy bride-to-be. I have my perfect dream ring, which is beautiful and unique. I constantly get compliments and would like to imagine that I'm the envy of every girl. =) I personally give Leigh my highest recommendation and will definitely be getting my wedding band from him, no questions asked.
