You, Me, Us
There is no way to know what makes one thing happen
-Wild
and not another.
What leads to what.
What destroys what, or what causes what to flourish,
or die, or take another course.
What If I forgave myself? What if I was sorry?
What if I was never redeemed? What if I already was?
What if my life experiences taught me something?
What if all of those things got me here?
What if I could go back in time… I wouldn’t do a single thing differently.
It took me years to be the person I am today. I could have lost myself in the wilderness, but I found my way through the forest. I didn’t even know where I was going until I got there. It took me a few years in the Navy, a few years working for a large corporation, many years working for a small company, wonderful children, beautiful grandchildren, a few years being a volunteer in my community, throw in a little Andy Griffith and Happy Days, and voila, here I am, the kid from Mayberry Chowchilla.
