I believe in the preciousness of the subtle, in between moments when you are thinking less about the camera and more about each other. Photography is personal.  You are vulnerable in front of a camera and that is something that I completely empathize with.  I am here to help you feel like yourself.  I want you to think less about the goofy photographer hanging around you and more about how much you love the people you are with.  Whether it is gentle prompting to give you natural ideas of “what to do with your hands” or being a fly on the wall while you have the best time with your loves, we will figure out the right fit for you.  I love reading the room and making everyone feel as comfortable as I can.  I have a calm, mellow personality but I am also hyper focused on being present when I am photographing (I wish I could say that was true when I am off the clock!  I’m working on it.).  All moments are fleeting and I don’t want to miss a thing.  The results are genuine, honest photos that will take you back to a place and a time.  I love being a photographer in Birmingham, Alabama.
