About the Lansing Doula Network

The Lansing Doula Network (LDN) is a collaboration of independent birth professionals who provide education and support to families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. The LDN recognizes the role of birth doulas as being part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The doulas who participate in this network live in and serve the Greater Lansing area.

Our Vision:

Is for all people to feel supported during their pregnancy, labor and birth; experiencing a high level of satisfaction

Our Mission:

To Increase awareness of the benefits of working with a doula and build relationships with the medical community. Provide support and professional development opportunities for Lansing area doulas.

Our goals include:

  • Creating a network of doulas and provide support through professional development opportunities
  • Helping improve community knowledge of doulas
  • Increasing the number of births attended by doulas in Ingham county
  • Improving birth outcomes in Ingham County

The Lansing Doula Network is a branch of the Willow Tree Family Center
