This Sunday April 21st - The Blessing

The message is called “The Blessing – blessing and cursing in a world on fire.” Most of us take the ability to speak and communicate for granted and do not fully appreciate what a miracle it is. We peel off a string of words without thinking, forgetting that Jesus said that we will give account for every word we speak. Why would He say such a thing? It must be that our words have much more power than we thought.
This Sunday we will talk about using words to change our world. How do we refrain from cursing the world around us? How do we bless without falling into naïve positive speak? And how do we speak the truth in a way that isn't immediately rejected out of hand?
