#femalevoices: EFECW podcast series
The first episode of our podcast #femalevoices IS OUT NOW!!
The recording took place in October 2023 in Vienna during the Reinhild Traitler Symposium, which EFECW hosted together with EPIL (European Project of Interreligious Learning).
Our first podcast guest:
Sabiha Husic is a psychotherapist, interreligious peacebuilder, and the director of NGO Medica Zenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
She did her PhD Degree in Gender Studies at the University of Sarajevo.
For the past 30 years, she has been an advocate for the rights of women, gender equality, and societies with zero tolerance towards violence.
She was a keynote speaker at the “Reinhild Traitler Symposium” in Vienna 2023 on domestic violence.

The Ecumenical Forum of European Christian Women (EFECW) will hold its XIth General Assembly from 5-9 August 2022 in Strasbourg, France. To help making this Assembly a success, we have nine internship positions to fill:
- Social Media and Photography (2 persons)
- Coordinator Spiritual Life (2 persons)
- Internship Programme Team Leader
- Admin and Finance Assistant (2 persons)
- Strategy and Leadership Assistant
- Hybrid meeting facilitator
We are looking for women between 18-35 years who will join our assembly internship team. This is an opportunity to put existing skills to use, gather work experience and gaining new skills, as well as making friends from across Europe and experience the ecumenical movement from within.
