Schwarze p>As some of you may know, I have taken up a new hobby this year. I have been out and about riding horses since April. When I was little, I spent years dreaming about how I wanted to ride horses. Not even in the Wendy-kind of way. I never wanted a pink pony as my best friend. It was more like a strong desire to galopp across fields.

However, when I grew older, I continued to talk about how when I was little, I always wanted to ride horses. Until that one day earlier this year, when I realized that I was in fact a grown-up and that I acually COULD start riding whenever I wanted to. And so I did. And I was lucky enough to find out that a lot of my friends - and one in particular - actually enjoyed the same thing as I do.

So for the past months, I have taken riding classes and last weekend, my friend and I went on daytrip through Madulain in Engadin. It was orgainzed by the River Ranch, a lovely place for western riding, even for pure beginners. The tracks are easy and quite and the horses very patient - especially Hugo, the one I got to spend the day with.

So far, horse back riding has been a wonderful experience. You get to spend time outside, get yourself and your boots dirty and learn responsibility, leadership skills and you are encouraged to make decisions. So - a perfect hobby for a career-oriented working bee.

I will keep you posted on the progress and will make sure I will keep you Entertainer with a few lovely pictures of pretty horses along the way. :) In the meantime, you’ll find me in the saddle.

Wellness-Weekend in Italy

Unbenannt

We got to experience a lovely wellness weekend in Ebrusco this weekend at a Resort called L'Albereta, including a fantastic dinner for two with a view over the valley plus a private Yoga-lesson, which really worked me from head to toe - I loved it! And it was absolutely great to just get away from the city for two days and spend some time on the countryside.

As to the outfit, I’ve been going mad over green jeans lately, and, inspired by my green and blue Prada Voice sunglasses - I decided to go for electric blue heels. Gold and black for the accessories and my Michael Kors bag, plus a plain white shirt to add a simple and casual touch to the outfit.

Sebastian Paddle Brush Review

Unbenannt

You know, I have been very lucky. People keep giving me great things to try and write about - and I have to admit it, the more you work with good products, the more you get used to them and hence I sometimes feel slightly spoiled. But it’s a fact, every since I got my Sebastian brushes, I’ve been looking down on the ones I’d had for the past 30 years and had worked just fine for me. Statements like “oh, it doesn’t electrify my hair” or “Maybe it is better for my hair quality after a while” would suddenly cross my lips. Whatever is true of all that - the paddle brush works really well, and trust me, my hair likes to be difficult. So thumbs up from my side. And just out of curiosity - what are you using?
